Shillong is often on my Mind

I have been back for almost three weeks from NYC. I spent 23 days between Long Island City and NYC. I will start posting some of my adventures on my other blogs as well. I spent many years in Shillong; as a small child, as teenager and briefly as an adult. The beauty of this place is etched in my mind so whenever I miss it, I know, all I have to do is, close my eyes and picture it. So many memories come to mind especially enjoying family picnics in Cheerapunjee and Upper Shillong. We often shopped in Police Bazaar and Bara Bazaar.
